Tostones: Best things ever?
Tostones, or fried green plantains (platanos verdes), are a staple in much of the Spanish speaking Caribbean and neighbors in South America. They’re addictive. This is how I make them.
Ingredients:
1-n green plantains (I’d say one banana for every two people)
Approx 3-4 c. vegetable (or other) oil, for deep frying (about 3/4” to 1” deep)

I am not particularly wowed by the NBA statistical analysis on display here: http://sn.im/swjbn These analysis call for inferential statistics (e.g. is Shaq better/worse in a given situation) but the author gives no indication of the statistical significance of his results. That’s not to say the conclusions aren’t accurate, but I don’t buy that Tony Battie is a bad clutch free...
